While I agree that Libreoffice might not be the prettiest UI of the bunch, after having tried many of your listed alternatives, as well as Microsoft Office standalone, I always come back to LO for my work. I am not saying customizing LO will solve the problem, it is already far superior and has features that no standard MS user would ever use but features like Excel Macros, key bindings don't quite work well. I have used Office 2013 icons (2019 are available?) and MS like colors. Here is my LibreOffice setup it's not possible to add anything more to it.
